New look for town is great
Dear editor - Now that all the white lines are painted on the Commons, Westgate and up to the Green in Pembroke, we should thank Pembrokeshire County Council for its efforts to improve the commons and road surfaces in the town.
The realigned stream will look great when spring really arrives and the new surfaces and landscaping give a more co-ordinated and elegant look to the area.
The work on clearing vegetation from the town walls has also improved Pembroke's image.
The resurfacing teams are to be congratulated on the way they kept up the momentum of their work, in spite of the constant need to maintain and continually divert traffic flow. It was a difficult situation to work in.
Motorists should be congratulated too, for not getting overheated' during the work.
Peter and Pamela Davidson

Pembroke.

And i would like to thank the road teams who dug up this new tarmac near the Mill Bridge the week before last !!
I would also like to thank those STUPID IDIOTS who designed, installed and thought it was a good idea to place the central reservation Near Pembroke Road (Top Road) PD. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to slow easterly traffic from a 30mph limit onto a 40mph limit, forcing LGV's onto the grass verge to negotiate around this island, Yet vehicles are still speeding westerly across the Top Road onto high Street.
