A 21-year-old woman was taken into police custody, following a serious road accident in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The woman's red, S reg, Vauxhall Corsa Sport crashed through a wall and into the forecourt of Mike Howlin's motors at 2.55am on may 10th.

Eight cars parked on the garage forecourt were written off and ten others were damaged the total value of the damage is estimated to be around £60,000.

Police say that the car had come from Haverfordwest town centre and was being driven in the direction of Milford Haven An ambulance crew on the way back from another incident came across the scene. The car had rolled over and one occupant was still inside.

Two casualties were taken to Withybush Hospital, one female with a suspected broken collarbone.

An ambulance spokesman said that there was a total of five casualties.

Fire crew helped make the area safe, the road was closed until around midday on Saturday as emergency services cleared away the debris.

The driver of the vehicle was bailed pending further enquiries yesterday (Sunday).

Police are appealing for any drivers who were on the road at the time and who may have witnessed the crash, or have seen the driving of the red Corsa, to contact the incident room at Haverfordwest police station on 0845 330 2000.
