Local pub raises a glass to charity this weekend

A Pembrokeshire pub is raising a glass to charity this weekend as it celebrates its own Oktoberfest beer festival.

The Victoria Inn in Roch has amassed a range of British and continental beers as it prepares to raise money for two very different but very deserving causes.

The pub will be taking part in 'The Big Curry' on Friday night, a national appeal to raise money for the Soliders' Charity, which gives support to serving and retired soldiers and their families by helping make vital changes to their homes if they are injured in service.

On Saturday night, there will be a pig roast organised by Treginnis Farm for City Children, St Davids to raise money for a new incubator.
