A Southampton man who stole a £12,500 boat from Neyland, is due to appear at Swansea crown court today (Friday).
Peter Andrew Black, aged 32, of Waterhouse Lane, Southampton pleaded guilty at Haverfordwest magistrates court last month to stealing
a blue Rinker V260 boat from
Neyland on August 27th.
The court heard Black also stole a
Honda motorbike worth £200 on the
same day, which he put in his van as an
‘optional extra’.
Black had disabled the CCTV at the
boat yard and made arrangements to
store the boat back in Southampton.
He had also used a false number plate
on his red Citroen van.
Last month Judge Manning-Davies sent the case
to crown court for sentencing and told
Black he should prepare himself for a
substantial custodial sentence.
Black is listed to appear in front of Mr Recorder PK Lewis QC this afternoon.
