Christmas rubbish news
12:10pm Monday 24th December 2012 in News
There will be a number of changes to refuse and recycling arrangements over Christmas and New Year, the county council has announced.
If your normal collection day was due to fall either tomorrow, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day, arrangements have been made to collect on alternative days.
There will be no collections on Tuesday, December 25th (Christmas Day), or Tuesday, January 1st (New Year’s Day).
Anyone who would normally have a Tuesday collection will instead have an alternative collection day on Saturday, December 29th, with normal Tuesday collections resuming from Tuesday, January 8th.
There will be no collections on Wednesday, December 26th (Boxing Day).
Anyone who would normally have a Wednesday collection will instead have an alternative collection day on Sunday, December 30th, with normal Wednesday collections resuming on January 2nd.
All six of County Council’s Civic Amenity and Recycling Centres are open every day except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
