Queues at the Scotchwell Roundabout in Haverfordwest following the closure of the A40.
A man has been taken to Withybush Hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries following the crash that closed a long stretch of the main A40 this morning (Thursday).
The crash happened at about 11.27am on the A40 route between Slebech and Canaston Bridge.
A Mercedes articulated lorry and a Volkswagen Passat car were involved.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said two appliances and one officer went to the scene.
One casualty was released by hydraulic cutting equipment.
The road had to be closed at Scotchwell roundabout and at Canaston Bridge and diversions are in place.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said that two people in total were taken to hospital.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed on the route as investigation work continues.
