A Pembroke Dock man who broke a 27-year-old man’s jaw by punching him while he was sitting down will be sentenced at Swansea crown court today (Friday).

Matthew Clemence, aged 22, has previously pleaded guilty to unlawfully and maliciously wounding Christopher Paul Griffiths in Tenby on July 22nd last year.

Haverfordwest Magistrates heard last November how Mr Griffiths had to have surgery on his broken jaw at Morriston Hospital.

District judge Vivian Manning-Davies made an order for a pre-sentence report to be prepared and granted Clemence, of Dimond Street, unconditional bail.

He is listed to appear in front of Mr Recorder James Townsend at Swansea crown court for sentencing this morning.
