Some Haverfordwest school children will be heading for the bright lights of the O2 Arena tomorrow (Wednesday) with the world’s largest children’s choir organiser Young Voices.

A number of talented singers from Ysgol Glan Cleddau will join Diamond Jubilee performers, the African Children’s Choir, and Britain’s Got Talent star, Connie Talbot, to perform in sell-out concerts across the UK.

They will perform in a choir of up to 8,000 children in concerts as part of Young Voices arena tour.

The children will lend their voices to the concerts taking place at London’s 02 Arena on January 30th. It is the first time that Ysgol Gymraeg Glan Cleddau is taking part in a Young Voices concert.

Headteacher Aled Davies said: “The pupils and staff are already very excited about performing at the O2 in London.”

Founded by Welsh entrepreneur David Lewis, Young Voices provides opportunities for primary school children to perform all styles of music with the aim of boosting their confidence and providing lifelong memories for them and their families.
