Wales Air Ambulance conveyed an elderly woman from St Davids to have specialist surgery at Morriston Hospital
An elderly woman was airlifted from St Davids to receive specialist surgery at Morriston Hospital earlier this afternoon (Friday).
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesman said it received the call at 11.25am and arrived on the scene at 11.52am, after a local doctor had referred the woman with a leaking aneurysm.
The helicopter left the scene at 12.15pm, to take the woman for specialist surgery at Morriston Hospital and arrived at 12.40pm.
