Over 34 years in jail for robbery gang

Four men who burst into a house and attacked the occupier have been locked up for a total of 34- and-a-half years for their part in the brutal robbery in Milford Haven.

The three men and one juvenile had pleaded guilty to robbery charges last month.

Bradley Clancy, aged 31, of Wellington, Surrey, Michael Lash-Larbie, aged 25, of Mitcham, Surrey, Jordan Reinhardt, aged 29, of Wallington, Croydon and Ronnie Arnold, aged 17, Beddington, Surrey, were sentenced at Swansea crown court last week.

A fifth defendant, Ian Jenkins, aged 25, of Battersea, London, was not produced at the hearing and is due to be sentenced at a later date.

The court heard that Jenkins, Lash-Larbie and Arnold entered the home of Neil McDonald and his wife just after 10pm on October 11th, 2012.

Neil MacDonald was hit with a crowbar and a table leg and seriously injured before the robbers escaped with a quantity of cash.

The drama ended after a high-speed chase by police when the men’s BMW crashed at Pont Abraham as the gang approached the M4.

All men had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to robbery while Jenkins, Lash-Larbie and Arnold also pleaded guilty to wounding with intent.

Reinhardt, the driver in the incident, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving as well as to robbery.

At the hearing on February 22nd, Clancy was jailed for nine years, Lash- Larbie for 10 years and Reinhardt for eight and a half years. Arnold was given seven years’ detention. Not guilty pleas in the case were ordered to lie on file.
