Women gear up for glam night at Gravells

Women who would like to be in the driving seat when it comes to knowing how their car works will be steering themselves in the direction of Narberth tonight (Friday).

They are being invited to ‘Glam Up and Gear Up’ and go along to Gravells in Redstone Road for an evening in aid of Ty Hafan.

“There will be a technician showing how to look after a car and what to do in an emergency breakdown; a self-defence workshop to help in a difficult situation; nibbles and drinks and various local businesses displaying their wares,” said Gravells managing director, Ian Gravell.

Singing sensation Jodie Marie is taking time out from her busy schedule to go along to the evening to perform a song or two, with Grizzly Gravell, the business’s mascot, also scheduled to make an appearance.

The evening is being organised by Ian’s daughter, Abi Gravell and fellow students from the events and hospitality management course at UWIC, who have formed the Platinum Planners for this and future events.

Tickets for the ‘Glam Up and Gear Up’ are £5, with all proceeds going to Ty Hafan, with the aim of raising £1,000. They are available from Gravells Narberth showroom or by calling 01834 862600.
