Thieves take milk from mouths of babes

Pupils at Ysgol Ger y Llan, Letterston, were left without their break time milk on Friday, March 8th, after an early morning theft.

A crate of the unique 1/3 pint milk cartons was stolen from the school between 4am and 7am.

Police say the school is concerned that the milk was stolen, due to the fact that the young children there enjoy their daily drink of milk.

“Although not a major crime, this can be quite upsetting for the children attending the school,” said PC 929 Griffiths.

He is also warning other schools to be aware of this incident in order to prevent a spate of this type of theft.

Any members of the public who have any information should contact PC Griffiths at Fishguard police station on 101.
