Parents in court on child neglect charges after death of Pembrokeshire boy aged 8

The parents of an eight-year-old boy who allegedly died of scurvy appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates court earlier today (Tuesday, March 12th).

Glynn and Julie Seabridge, both aged 46, from Eglwyswrw, are charged with child neglect between July 1st 2011 and December 7th 2011. Neither of them entered a plea.

Their son, Dylan Mungo Seabridge, died suddenly at his home in Crymych on December 6th 2011. Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the case will be heard at Swansea Crown Court on March 22nd.

The Seabridges were granted unconditional bail.
