Police investigate ‘intentional digging’ at badger sett

Police are working to track down badger-diggers after an occupied sett in south Pembrokeshire was found to be disturbed.

The incident has taken place on the Peter's Finger Lane bridleway at Templeton some time during the last two or three weeks.

Wildlife crime liaison officer, PC Shaun Doble, said: "There is evidence of a large amount of earth that has been moved from the top of the badger sett. It appears that intentional digging has occurred at the site of the sett."

Anyone with information about the incident should contact PC Doble at Tenby police station on 101.
