A woman whose car broke down late at night at Killinghall Road traffic lights in Bradford wants to thank four people who came to her rescue.
Diana Davis, from Rawdon, was on her way home after a concert in Halifax last Thursday when her car stalled at the lights at about 10.20pm.
She tried to call her husband, but her mobile did not work. Two women heavily laden with shopping bags then approached her to ask if she was okay.
As she was explaining what had happened, a car pulled up and two men got out.
“One of them got into the driver’s seat and managed to get it going. He drove it round the corner and said it seemed fine,” said Mrs Davis.
“I just wanted to let these people know I got home safely, thanks to them.
“I was in such a flap I never got their names, but wanted them to know how much their kindness was appreciated.”
