A request for an extraordinary meeting about pension arrangements has been refused by County Council chairman Arwyn Williams.
The request was made by Cllr Paul Miller to give members opportunity to discuss controversial pension payments to senior officers.
He also called for the decision to be rescinded, the chief executive be suspended and a review carried out by Welsh Government. Despite Cllr Williams refusal to call the meeting it can still be convened under the council constitution via requisition of the head of legal and committee services Huw Miller.
Cllr Miller said that a meeting would definitely be held it was just a question of when?
