AUTUMN fashions and accessories will be on display at a one-off charity fashion show in association with Marks and Spencer this month.
Organised by British Red Cross volunteer Pat Thomas, the show will feature local volunteer models, and showcase a range of clothes and accessories perfect for the party season.
Pat said the evening will be a chance to enjoy a drink, canapés and a slice of cake with friends, and take a look at the latest trends.
There will also be a chance to win some wonderful prizes in a charity raffle, donated by Marks and Spencer.
Sarah Austin, local Red Cross fundraiser, said fundraising events were crucial to helping the Red Cross support vulnerable people in crisis, both locally and overseas.
“We provide many valuable services on a daily basis to people across Pembrokeshire, including offering practical and emotional support to people in their own homes after an accident or illness, tackling social isolation with a befriending service for people over 50 years, and supporting front line emergency services and local authorities in the event of major incidents such as floods or severe weather.”
She added: “That’s why we’re encouraging as many people as possible to come along – we really need their support and promise they’ll have a great time giving it!”
The catwalk show takes place at the Picton Centre, Haverfordwest, from 7pm on Friday, October 25.
Tickets are currently on sale in the Haverfordwest Red Cross shop on Bridge Street priced at £5.
