A NEW BBC Cymru Wales series will wash up onto TV screens on Thursday, following the lives of the people who live, work and play along the route of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

In the opening episode of Pembrokeshire: Coastal Lives, recycling guru Buzz gets his Fairy Café at Llanwnda ready for the summer walkers. He is a man with many plans, including his aluminium can electric car project.

While wild food forager, Julia Horton-Powdrill visits her outdoor larder for inspiration for her Really Wild Festival at the Bishop’s Palace, St David’s Cathedral.

Twenty miles south at Treginnis Farm, the James family get in shape for a big wedding. Yo-yo dieter mum Kath is determined to make Nat’s dream day come true.

Things have got competitive out at sea - Jono and Ben are out to catch the first mackerel of the season and there’s a pint for the winner.

And come rain or shine, pigeon racer Ozzie and fellow path warden Rich are hard at work helping to maintain the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Pembrokeshire: Coastal Lives begins on Thursday BBC Two Wales, 7.30pm.
