Roads blocked as trees fall in the strong winds battering Pembrokeshire
4:30pm Saturday 2nd November 2013 in News
The warnings may have been all about the St Jude storm last week, but strong winds have caused serious problems around Pembrokeshire this afternoon (Saturday).
Several trees were reported down and blocking roads, particularly in the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock areas - including Bush Hill, St Daniel's Hill, Lower Lamphey Road and Treymeyrick Street.
Some houses have also lost power.
The Cleddau Bridge was also closed to all vehicles earlier because of the very strong winds.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of wind with gusts in the region of 50-60mph and even up to 70mph on exposed coasts.
More to follow as it is received.
