Social media posts that two rhinos had escaped from a Pembrokeshire animal park during last night's storm are false, it has been confirmed.
Several posts late last evening on Facebook and Twitter talked about two rhinos escaping from Manor House Wildlife Park, St Florence.
But a spokesman for the park said: "I can confirm that our rhinos were safely and snugly tucked up in their house last night and haven't got a clue what all the fuss is about!"
The park also tweeted the same.
The road to St Florence was closed temporarily due to a roof blowing off a barn, but nothing to do with a rhino version of The Great Escape.
