HAIR's what students at Pembrokeshire College can do.
Judges from Chic International, Elgon, Gilmore, Head to Toe and City and Guilds, London judged the college's hairdressing and beauty therapies students on their skills in a series of themed competitions.
Jackie Jones, product manger for hair and beauty, for City and Guilds, London, was particularly impressed with the team work and the first year students who demonstrated skills in a competition after only eight weeks of training.
The winners were: ladies cut and blow-dry, Rowan John; gents cut and blow-dry, Sarah Jones; first year blow-dry, Kat Raymond; cover girl, Sophie Mansell; high fashion, Sophie Eddison; evening style, Lacey Cyrier; fantasy make-up, Rachel Reynolds; level three colour and finish, Jessica Warlow.
The team event, with a centuries theme, was won by the Freaky Fairies; Kayleigh Sargent, Kelly Condick, Sarah Jones, Rowan John, Marcus Scott, Lisa Kendrick.
Students are now preparing for the Welsh heats at Ystrad Mynach College on January 29th.
