POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault which left a man in his early thirties with "serious injuries".

The Western Telegraph understands four police cars, a dog van and one ambulance attended the incident at Queen Street, Pembroke Dock, on Saturday (March 22).

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which occurred at sometime between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Saturday, March 22, somewhere along the road between Queen Street and ASDA, Pembroke Dock.

“The victim, a male in his early 30’s, received injuries which required hospital treatment. There are no descriptions of the offenders available.

“Anyone who was in the area at the appropriate time or has information that could help the investigation is asked to contact DC Briggs, Pembroke CID, on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 5.16pm on Saturday, March 22 to a property on Queen Street, Pembroke Dock.

“Crew in an emergency ambulance attended and a man in his 30s with serious injuries was taken to Withybush General Hospital.”
