A MAN collapsed on the grounds of St David’s Cathedral earlier this afternoon following a homecoming parade by 236 signal squadron.
As people were leaving the medal presentation ceremony at the Bishop’s Palace, paramedics could be seen performing CPR on the casualty at the foot of the 39 steps.
The Wales Air Ambulance circled the city, but did not land.
A spokesman from the Wales Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.47pm today, Wednesday March 26, to a medical emergency near St David’s Cathedral.
"A paramedic in a rapid response car and an emergency ambulance attended.”
There is currently no update on the casualty's condition.
