Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they continue to investigate the collision that took the life of a popular Pembrokeshire school teacher.

Catrin Vaughan, 30, suffered fatal injuries in the collision on the A40 near Fishguard, on the Scleddau road, on Tuesday April 1.

Miss Vaughan was a teacher at Ysgol Glannau Gwaun, Fishguard.

The vehicles involved were a blue Mini Cooper and a grey Volkswagen Golf.

Anyone who was travelling on the A40 near Fishguard between 7.30am and 8.10am on Tuesday morning, or anyone who witnessed the collision, is asked to contact the Pembrokeshire Roads Policing Unit.

Police would especially like to speak to the driver of a small white van, possibly a Vauxhall, which was travelling from the direction of Newport, through Fishguard.

It is thought the van passed the collision site almost immediately after it occurred, and may have information that could assist officers.

Anyone with information should contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
