Properties near the Mill Ford Arms pub in Haverfordwest were evacuated last night (Friday) after a fire broke out at Cartlett Road.
Crews from Haverfordwest and Milford Haven were involved in tackling the fire.
Among the properties evacuated was a block of flats.
Dyfed-Powys Police said all occupants were evacuated.
The A40 was closed at Scotchwell Roundabout for a time while emergency services worked at the scene.
The incident happened at about 11pm.
There is currently no word on injuries or damage.
