Looking for something to do this half term? The Havens festival opens tomorrow Friday (May 23), and there’s plenty planned for all the family to get involved with.
The festival, which is based in and around Broad Haven and Little Haven, kicks off at 7pm with an illustrated talk by Rachel Barnwell called ‘Inside Pembrokeshire Homes’.
On Saturday, there’s a history exhibition; make a flying seagull classes; and a talk by Ted Goddard about Pembrokeshire’s shipwrecks. There will also be a live gig night at The Galleon.
During the week there will be Big Cook/Little Cook events at Broad Haven Youth Hostel, a vintage craft afternoon, a teddy bear’s picnic, and plenty of arts and craft sessions to keep little fingers busy.
On Thursday, a charity coffee morning and sand sculpture competition round off the week of fun.
