THE A40 was closed briefly this morning following a two vehicle collision near the Green Bower garage.

Dyfed-Powys Police said that officers were called at around 10.15am after a Yamaha motorcycle and Mercedes car collided.

An ambulance crew provided medical attention to the motorcyclist at the scene and there are not believed to be any life threatening injuries.

The road was reopened at around 11.05am a police spokesman said.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 10.17am today, Friday May 30, to reports of a road traffic collision near Green Bower Garages in Slebech, Haverfordwest. Crew in an emergency ambulance attended, and a man in his 40s was taken to Withybush General Hospital.”
