A Pennar man who sold non-existent iPhones and an iPad via the internet is due to be sentenced today (Monday).

Luke Woodward, 22, of Grove Street, pleaded guilty to four counts of fraud by false representation when he appeared in front of Haverfordwest magistrates court earlier this month.

According to the charges, he made £1645.50 from selling items he never had in his possession.

“This is a serious breach of people’s trust and confidence in the system of internet sales,” said prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones at the previous hearing.

Mr Pritchard-Jones said that Woodward had pleaded guilty to similar matters in Swansea and was due to appear in Swansea crown court.

“I think it’s sensible to look at the bigger picture and commit these new charges for sentence at Swansea crown court on that day,” he said.

Woodward is listed to appear in front of Mr Recorder C Clee QC at Swansea crown court for sentencing this morning.
