A Milford Haven man has received a conditional discharge after a judge decided that sitting on a train from the town at nine in the morning was probably punishment enough.
Steven Daniel Cole, aged 48, appeared at Swansea crown court on Friday to be sentenced after admitting damaging a car and cultivating three cannabis plants.
John Hikpin, prosecuting, said Cole, of Larch Road, Mount Estate, had lost his temper and had been seen by a police officer to smash the windscreen of a car.
After his arrest officers searched his home and found the cannabis plants.
Cole arrived late at court and explained he had caught the 9am train from Milford to Swansea.
Judge Nic Parry said that was probably enough punishment.
