AN IMPRESSIVE variety of art and photography has been on display at Milford Haven Town Hall this week, thanks to pupils from Milford Haven School.

The pupils, who are studying Btec, GCSE, A and AS level Art and Photography courses, exhibited work in a range of different media.

“It was a successful evening,” said Elizabeth Devonald, Head of Art at Milford Haven School.

“We were extremely pleased with the high standard of all of the work produced by the pupils, who are a credit to the school and wider community.”

Included this year was an AS photography exhibition 'Living by the Sea', run by community arts group spacetocreate and sponsored by Milford Haven Port Authority.

The exhibition was opened by the Mayor of Milford Haven, Cllr Eric Harries and sixth form students helped to man the display, greeting and talking to visitors.

Cllr Sue Perkins, Cabinet Member for Education and Safeguarding, said: “This was an excellent exhibition from a talented group of students, who produced some very impressive work.”

The school is grateful to Tesco for providing the refreshments.
