Services will be held in Milford Haven, Hubberston and Neyland, starting this weekend, to remember those who have given their lives, or lost loved ones, at war.

A short, quiet service will be held at St David’s Church, Hubberston, tomorrow (Saturday, November 1) at 11am.

It will be an opportunity to remember, give thanks, and light a candle for lost loved ones, and to pray for those who grieve. Everyone is welcome, for more information ring Colin on 01646 692966.

On Sunday, November 2, at 11.45 am there will be a Dedication Service at the Memorial Gardens, followed by the placing of crosses in the special area in front of the First World War Memorial Plaque.

Services will be held in Milford Haven and Neyland on Sunday, November 9.

A parade will assemble at Milford Haven town hall, before making its way to the Cenotaph at 10.45am.

And Mayor of Neyland Simon Hancock, invites locals to join him at Neyland cenotaph at 2.30pm.

Then, on Tuesday, November 11, members of the Royal British Legion will assemble in the covered area outside Kwik Save, Charles Street at 10.30 am to lead the call for a two-minute silence, marking the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month.

There will then be a dedication service at the Memorial Gardens at 11.15 am, where a tree has been planted in memory of those who lost their lives in the First World War.
