Colby Woodland Garden, near Amroth, plays host to its annual winter craft and food fair at this weekend, with more than 25 stalls, many featuring produce which is made and produced locally.

The event - on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm - offers free admission.

Visitors can enjoy stress-free shopping and some delicious food, before rounding off the day with a refreshing stroll through the woods.

The menu features treats from The Chocolate Froglet, Oh SugarPlum!, Cowpots, Nash Farm and Fire and Ice, amongst others, and an array of crafts including Freshwest Silver, Adrift and Siramilk potteries and PurpeStar crafts.

Head gardener Steve Whitehead said: “We are very excited about new producers joining us, such as Brynheulog Rare Breeds, who farm pedigree Mangalitza pigs on the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains.”

A variety of hot food and drinks will be available, including vegetarian, and the Bothy tearoom at Colby will making hot pancakes.

There will also be a tombola and raffle, and a chance to buy some natural Christmas decorations made by Colby’s gardeners.
