The way to win a super-sized Snoopy, currently residing in the window of Fishguard’s Edelweiss Antiques, has changed but Snoopy fans can still win the colossal cuddly toy before Christmas.

The 4’6” Snoopy was going to be raffled by Edelweiss Antiques owner, Vicky Gwilliam. However she has now decided to let him go in a secret auction to raise money for the NSPCC, Age Concern and Shelter.

“I was having difficulty selling the raffle tickets, as some people really wanted to win him, but other people really wanted to give to the charities but didn’t have space for snoopy.

“It seemed the best thing to do was to secret bid him. Then someone who really wants him has a better chance of winning him.”

Secret sealed bids can be submitted by hand to Edelweiss Antiques or via private message on their Facebook page. Bidding closes on December 19th, the winner will be announced on Saturday, January 20th.
