STAFF and children at Cylch Meithrin Croesgoch certainly have something to smile about.
They were recently awarded their Bronze award in recognition of their commitment to the Designed to Smile national oral health improvement programme.
Designed to Smile is funded by the Welsh Government and helps children to have healthier teeth.
Tara Gover co-ordinator and oral health improvement officer for Pembrokeshire welcomed the news.
She said: “It is our pleasure to award Cylch Meithrin Croesgoch their Bronze award. Emma and her team have embedded tooth brushing into their daily routine and following staff training are able to pass on key messages around good oral health to children and their families.
“Evidence shows that early tooth brushing activity maximises prevention of developing tooth decay later in childhood.”
