A Pembrokeshire employer is turning to an unusual tactic to recruit new employees, holding a coffee morning in the community today (Thursday).
Bluestone National Park Resort near Narberth is hosting a number of coffee mornings to reach people who might not otherwise consider seeking or applying for new or alternative work as a housekeeper.
“We thought what better way to reach potential employees than by hosting our own coffee mornings in Pembrokeshire,” said Debbie Rainbow, HR Director at Bluestone.
“We know there people out there, some of whom are in work, some returning to work or just looking for a new role and there are those people who are not sure what job would suit them.”
Debbie added: “Going to the community and inviting people to a coffee morning makes it a bit more social and accessible.”
The coffee morning takes place at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre today (Thursday) between 12noon and 5pm.
