A PEMBROKE man, accused of dishonesty while he worked as a solicitor, is to have his case heard on Friday.

Failing to appear at Llanelli magistrates last Thursday, January 22, Simon William Griffiths, 52, of Rose Valley, Lower Lamphey Road, Pembroke faces charges of false accounting at Milford Haven and fraud by abuse of position, dating back to July 31, 2012.

Griffiths, formerly of Eaves Solicitors of Barrallier House, Milford Haven, appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates the following day, January 23.

No pleas have yet been entered by Griffiths.

His case will now be heard at Swansea Crown Court this Friday, January 30.

He was bailed on the condition he reports to Pembroke Dock police station.

Griffiths was previously struck off the Roll by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal back in 2013.
