The Pembrokeshire tourism and hospitality trade will be welcoming one of the UK’s most influential tourism experts at the annual Destination Pembrokeshire Conference, today (Thursday).
Director of the Welsh Centre for Tourism Research at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Professor Annette Pritchard, will be the keynote speaker at the January 29 Pembrokeshire Tourism event, Tourism – A New Direction, being held at the Bridge Innovation Centre.
Professor Annette Pritchard carries extensive knowledge in destination branding and visitor research and has written a number of influential journals and books.
Chief Executive of Pembrokeshire Tourism Maudie Hughes said: “I am delighted that Professor Pritchard will be joining us at the Destination Pembrokeshire Conference as our keynote speaker.
“With the theme of Tourism: A New Direction, it will be great to hear from Professor Pritchard and with her wealth of experience in tourism and research within the sector, I am looking forward to gaining greater insights from her as to how tourism could develop here in Pembrokeshire over the next few years.”
