WALES YFC is calling on people to declare their support for the organisation, following the recent news that two of its main funding sources have been cut.
Supporters will now have the opportunity to sign a declaration of support and benefit for the largest rural youth organisation in Wales. Supporters are also welcome to give a donation towards the organisation.
Iwan Meirion, Wales YFC Chairman, said: “The support that Wales YFC has received following the announcement of the funding cuts has been overwhelming. It just goes to show how important the organisation is to people in rural Wales and how much they have benefited from YFC.”
The declaration can be found here: www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/cfficymru-walesyfc and paper copies are also available from the office.
The YFC has its usual packed schedule for the year ahead, with its Entertainment Feast being staged at Swansea's Grand Theatre this weekend.
The event will host both the Welsh and English pantomimes and will give members the opportunity to perform on a professional stage with state of the art facilities.
The Junior and Senior Member Competition Year, and the dancing competition will also take place.
