An award-winning film about a record-breaking journey will be screened in St Davids today, Saturday, March 28.

The Beeline Britain challenge saw a team of adventurers complete the first ever straight line journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats, covering a total of 1,100km.

Among them was Tori James from Clarbeston Road, who spent 100 hours in a kayak, 34 hours on a bike and more than 12 hours on foot crossing some challenging terrain, including the UK’s second highest peak - Ben MacDui.

The documentary As The Crow Flies will be screened at Ysgol Dewi Sant at 7pm.

Tickets cost £3 in advance or £4 on the door. They can be purchased from TYF, Ysgol Dewi Sant and St Davids Pilates.

Tori said: “Pembrokeshire was one of the key locations 'on the line' so I'm hoping it's going to be a really special evening.”

All of the proceeds will go to BLESMA, a charity for limbless servicemen and women and their families
