MOTORCYCLISTS are being invited to take part in a ride-out from Pembroke to support disadvantaged youngsters this Sunday afternoon.

The Easter Egg Run, organised by charity group the 3 Amigos, takes place on March 29, and is planned to leave from Pembroke’s Commons car park at 1pm for a ride-out before ending up at Pembroke Dock Cricket Club.

The ride-out runs from Pembroke, via the Finger Post, Carew, St Clears, Laugharne and Pendine for a quick cuppa stop before ending up at Pembroke Dock Cricket Club via Amroth.

The event supports the Action For Children charity, which is providing an Easter party for invited youngsters and their families at the club that afternoon, from 2-5pm.

The Easter ride-out follows a successful 3 Amigos Christmas toy run to Withybush, which saw some 400 motorcyclists attend.

One of the 3 Amigos Organiser Ness Moseley said: “All the riders that come on the day bring an Easter egg.

“Just turn up on the day. If you can only afford 60p on a Cadburys Cream Egg that’s fine, but most bring bigger eggs than that.

“All the bikes then come back to the cricket club where the party’s underway, all the kids get to see the bikes arrive.”

For anyone who doesn’t want to bring an egg, Easter-themed cuddly toys and other presents are also welcome, Ness said.
