Two men have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of 14-year-old schoolgirl Joni Leigh Grffiths, who was last seen in Carmarthen town on March 4th.
The men are currently on bail pending further inquiries and police are continuing to appeal for information on Joni's whereabouts.
"We very concerned for Joni's safety as she is a vulnerable young girl," said Inspector Dave Sweet from Fishguard Police Station.
"There have been two possible sightings of Joni just outside Brynamman on the Black Mountain Road, but we are not aware of any connections to that area.
"I would urge anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts to please contact us.
"I would like to appeal directly to Joni to assure her she is not in trouble, we just want to know that she is safe.
"She can contact us, or go to her nearest police station or ring a family member."
Joni is described as white, about 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build with blonde hair and she normally wears make-up.
She has links to Pembrokeshire, south Wales and Gwent.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Fishguard police on 0845 330 2000or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
