A 17-year-old youth is due to appear at Haverfordwest Youth Court today (Friday) following a dramatic armed police operation at Milford Haven train station last month.

On Sunday, March 29, shoppers at the Tesco store opposite the station were shocked to see two men ordered to the floor by armed officers.

Later, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that two 17-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.

Earlier this month one teenager appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court and admitted possession of crack cocaine with intent.

The teenager, who cannot be named, also had cash in his possession when he was apprehended, the hearing was told.

The boy cried in the dock as he was remanded in custody, to appear before Haverfordwest Youth Court today.

Dyfed-Powys Police said a series of further arrests have been made in connection with the case.

A 34-year-old man from Haverfordwest, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug, a 36-year-old woman from Milford Haven on suspicion of possessing a class A drug and a 33-year-old female from Milford Haven held on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs.

They have been released on bail.
