PUPILS from Stepaside CP School will be sharing the stage with a West End star today (Saturday, May 9).

The Year 6 children will perform two numbers with musical theatre singer Peter Karrie in a charity performance at Amroth Parish Hall, Summerhill.

Peter is performing as part of his Small Halls Tour with piano accompanist Nigel Hart and other local guest artistes.

All the proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Harriet Davis Seaside Holiday Trust for Disabled Children.

Peter is best known for his portrayal of the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera but also played the role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables for three-and-a-half years.
