HAVERFORDWEST Skatepark needs your vote to win money from the MARS Milk Play Fund.
Every month until September, MARS will donate a £1,000 cash award to a sports individual, club or project in need of extra funding. The entry that receives the most votes each month wins. Additionally, every week the company’s panel of judges will award two applicants with a grant of £300.
The Haverfordwest Skatepark Association (HSA) would invest the money in keeping the facility free to use, and put some towards lighting the Skatepark after dark.
“We want to keep it free so no-one is discriminated against, allowing everyone, regardless of finances, to use the park and enjoy their sport,” said a HSA spokesperson.
