THE body of a man was discovered at an address on the Mount Estate in Milford Haven yesterday (Sunday).
It is understood that police were alerted by neighbours, who had heard an alarm going off at the property for some time.
A police spokesman said: “Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a male who was found in a property on the Mount estate on Saturday afternoon, 31st May 2015.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained. There are no suspicious circumstances at this time.
"Next of kin have been advised.”
Earlier, responding to claims that the county council had been contacted on May 19 about the alarm, a spokesman for the council said no record could be found.
However, the council has now confirmed this was incorrect.
They said: "We have double checked our records again and have now identified the call that came in from the neighbour on the Mount Estate on May 19th.
"We are now investigating the actions arising from the call.
"We apologise for the inaccuracy of our earlier statement."
