A Ceredigion council officer accused of wilful misconduct. Is due to appear in court today (Friday).
Katy Spain, aged 29, of Clos y Dderwen, Blaenplwyf, appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates last Wednesday.
It is alleged that Spain, a parking services manager at Ceredigion County Council, wilfully misconducted herself while acting as a public officer, in a way which amounted to an abuse of the public’s trust, between September 4 and 27, 2014.
She is accused of instructing a subordinate to falsify a council document which was served on a member of the public.
Iestyn Davies, defending, indicated that his client would be pleading not guilty.
The offence can only be heard at crown court, and the next hearing is listed for this morning, Friday, June 5 at Swansea Crown Court.
Spain was released on unconditional bail until that date.
