HYWEL Dda Health Board is holding another north Pembrokeshire Let's Talk Health event next week.

Those interested in their health service, who want to find out more about local developments and services or who want to share their views and experiences with their local NHS provider are invited to attend the Pembrokeshire Archive, Prendergast, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday, June 29.

The first Sgwrs Iach – Let’s Talk Health event in north Pembrokeshire was held in Letterston in January with around 90 people in attendance. Hot topics raised covered the timing of the event; retention of services at Withybush; women and children’s services; transport and funding plus many more.

Representatives from the executive board and Pembrokeshire county management team will be available to speak to.

Chairman of Hywel Dda UHB, Bernardine Rees, said: “Our first round of Sgwrs Iach – Let’s Talk Health events proved a great start to having more meaningful engagement with the public, patients and our stakeholders. We are looking forward to continuing the conversation when we visit Haverfordwest and hope to see plenty of familiar and new faces.”

The event will also provide an opportunity to meet your local Hywel Dda Community Health Council (CHC) representatives to find out more about the role of the CHC and the support they offer patients of Hywel Dda.

Information stands will also be provided by Choose Well, Siarad Iechyd / Talking Health, the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust, British Red Cross, Pembrokeshire Association of Community Transport Organisations (PACTO), Age Cymru Pembrokeshire and Fibromyalgia West Wales support group.
