ENJOY Shakespeare in St Dogmaels with The Tempest this week.

One of Shakespeare’s best-loved plays, it is full of romance, comedy and a touch of magic.

Prospero and his daughter Miranda are castaways on a remote island. Conjuring a tempest to wreck his usurping brother and the King of Naples on the shores of his ethereal kingdom, Prospero leads the shipwrecked souls on their own voyages of self-discovery.

Seated outdoors near the sea, be transported to an island that shows what it means to be human. And as the day ends and swallows turn into stars, St Dogmaels Abbey creates its very own kind of magic.

With live music and a lively cast, The Tempest will be The Abbey Shakespeare Players' 29th production in the majestic ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey.

Tickets are available from the box office at Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan, the theatre website, or at the gate on the evening.

This is an outdoor production so please dress warmly. Seating is provided.

Alternative indoor venue in case of heavy rain.

The production runs from Wednesday to Saturday, and starts at 8pm. Tickets are £8/£10.
