PEMBROKE’S Tenovus Cancer Care shop, located on Main Street, recently celebrated its 21st birthday and raised a fantastic £200 on the day for the charity.
The shop has been a constant feature in the high street for more than 20 years and has helped to raise thousands of pounds for cancer patients and their loved ones.
Tenovus Cancer Care brings treatment, emotional support and practical advice to where it matters most; the heart of the community. Without the help of its charity shops, it wouldn’t be able to continue helping those who need it most.
Tenovus Cancer Care Retail Area Manager for West Wales Matt Meehan said: “We want to thank our Pembroke shop staff and volunteers for their amazing efforts over the years and we really appreciate their support. Without dedicated people like these guys, we wouldn’t be where we are today.”
