Pirates, pandas and panto dames paraded through the twin towns of Fishguard and Goodwick on Saturday, as the Round Table carnival brought both the crowds and the sunshine.

The carnival procession set off from Goodwick Moor car park just after midday entertaining the crowds before ending up at Fishguard's Lota Park.

In the park there was a plethora of family entertainment including stalls, snake handling, falconry and martial arts displays, African drumming workshops, funfair and donkey rides, zorbing, and the popular Round Tables barbecue.

The popular Fishguard's Got Talent competition concluded the day's entertainment with some stunning acts taking to the stage. Iori Evans took the trophy, the talented youngster will now have the opportunity to sing at this year's New Year's Eve street party.

"This year's carnival has been a great success, but we wouldn't have been able to make it so without the fantastic support of our local community and businesses," said Round Table chairman Andrew Evans.

"We would like to give special thanks to everyone who attended on the day, the generosity of our sponsors and to all the volunteer groups and stall holders that set up on the field and helped make the carnival a true community day."

This year's carnival raised over £9,000 that will go to local charities.
